ReplyDeleteI like most of it Never crazy about low bracket winners getting money but at least any payout should be equivalent to the entry feeTo win 50$ after a 100$ entry fee just doesn’t seem right.

Agree with you on everything here. I wanted it to low bracket to be 100 but I know your historical objection so tried to minimize!
Cash carrot for losers is repulsive to me but necessary evil like chorine in pool.
"At least get rid of midsession payout."

I also agree with this very much. I tried to address as many of the ez to implement suggestions that came in. I would be in favour of moving the midseason payout to bottom bracket.
If there has to be chlorine in the pool, it should be enough to keep a turd interested in quality competition to the end. As paeon to splitseason crowd, small 2nd half most points prize remains.
"And do you think it’s necessary in a 60 game season to end a week earlier? I think every game is going to matter right until the end for one reason or another.

Again I agree. The perfect schedule is to go thru mlb season ending Sept 27. Then we each play all teams two times in a 56game schedule... Only problem here is that opens up a huge can of worms for Us to debate prizes/playoffs for the next two weeks before the season is either played of cancelled.
The Current Plan ending Sept 13th allows for usual week-long finals round ending one week before mlb.
Personally I love playing thru to the 27th but what a can of worms to process and manufacture consent for a season likely but hardly guarunteed to play.
